Ayodhya: The security framework of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya has been further reinforced with the completion of a state-of-the-art police administrative building and control room by the Uttar Pradesh government. The newly constructed facility is located just outside the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra premises and is ready for inauguration.
Built over an area of 12,000 square feet, the G+1 structure has been developed at a cost of ₹1,128.75 lakh. The project was implemented by the Home Department and executed through the construction agency CNDS, with construction work beginning in December 2023.

The main control room, housed in the building’s basement, is equipped with advanced surveillance and monitoring systems. From here, police officials will conduct 24×7 real-time monitoring of CCTV cameras, crowd movement, traffic management, and emergency response services in and around the Ram Janmabhoomi area.
The facility has been designed with multiple modern amenities, including cement concrete roads, rainwater harvesting systems, air-conditioned interiors, high-speed lifts, complete electrification, external drainage systems, a submersible pump with borewell, a strong boundary wall, MS gates, and a 160 KVA diesel generator set. These features ensure uninterrupted operations, energy efficiency, and preparedness during emergencies.

According to Devvrat Pawar, Project Manager of CNDS, nearly 98 percent of the construction work has been completed, with boundary wall work currently underway. The building is expected to become fully operational soon after its formal inauguration.
Once functional, the new control room will significantly enhance police surveillance and administrative coordination, ensuring heightened security and effective management of activities surrounding the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.
